Development Contribution Plan levy update

Date:
2 Nov 2016

The Doncaster Hill Development Contributions Plan 2005 (DCP) was introduced into the Manningham Planning Scheme in 2005 and provides for the development and/or upgrade of streetscape, social, cultural, recreational and transport infrastructure in Doncaster Hill. The capital works projects identified in the DCP will assist in realising the vision for Doncaster Hill.

The purpose of the DCP is to establish development contribution charging rates for residential and non-residential development in Doncaster Hill. A key component of the DCP is a community infrastructure levy, which funds construction of community facilities. This levy has been set at $900 per dwelling since 2004.

The community infrastructure levy has now been increased by the State Government to $1,150 (effective from 13 October 2016). To find out more, visit www.dtpli.vic.gov.au/planning/about-planning/improving-the-system/development-contributions-plans.
