Doncaster Hill traffic and parking review

Date:
26 May 2011

Manningham Council is undertaking a review of traffic and parking in Doncaster Hill to update work undertaken in a previous study in 2002 and identify any impacts on the surrounding road network due to current and potential future development.

As part of the implementation of the Doncaster Hill Strategy 2002, a Traffic and Parking Study was undertaken for Doncaster Hill. Since 2002 a number of significant developments have commenced construction, including Council’s $38 million Civic Precinct Community Hub, the affordable housing development at 99 Tram Road and The Pinnacle at 632 Doncaster Road. Westfield Doncaster has undergone a major redevelopment and bus services to Doncaster Hill have also been improved.

A number of other exciting projects are planned for the Hill and it is anticipated that further development will occur progressively over the next 10 to 20 years.
